CALIFORNIA — October 27, 2026. Sonoma County’s October 27 agenda seeks approval of 28 Third District Community Investment Fund awards supporting youth, cultural groups, community organizations and public events.
What the official records say
Named applicants include Latino Service Providers for Las Monarcas SinCuenta ($5,000) and a separate internship program ($2,000), KBBF 89.1 FM Radio for power poles and generator work ($3,000), the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County access initiative ($2,500), the Pediatric Dental Initiative of the North Coast ($2,500), North Bay Science Discovery Day ($1,000) and Rancho Cotate High School student organizations ($2,000). Other proposed recipients include the Museum of Sonoma County, North Coast Ballet California, Sonoma County Farm Trails and Sonoma County Pride.
What has not been confirmed
These are itemized recommended awards rather than proof that checks have been issued or a particular festival has already taken place. Different projects from the same organization are listed separately, so the number of items does not necessarily mean 28 unique legal recipients. Residents can read all amounts and intended uses in the official attachment.
