CALIFORNIA — October 27, 2026. Sonoma County’s October 27 Board of Supervisors agenda calls for setting six public hearings on December 8, 2026, regarding proposed underground utility districts on Arnold Drive, Geyserville Avenue, Main Street in Penngrove, Mirabel Road, Old Redwood Highway and Petaluma Hill Road.
What the official records say
The proposed hearing times begin at 10 a.m. for Arnold Drive, then 10:05 a.m. for Geyserville Avenue, 10:10 a.m. for Main Street, 10:15 a.m. for Mirabel Road, 10:20 a.m. for Old Redwood Highway and 10:25 a.m. for Petaluma Hill Road, or as soon afterward as feasible. The item seeks mailing notices to affected parcels and utility companies. District boundaries and parcel lists are included in six separate attachments to the staff report.
What has not been confirmed
A hearing date is not an assurance that every overhead wire will immediately be removed. Establishing a district and financing design, utility relocation and construction are distinct steps. PG&E Rule 20A credits are subject to a December 31, 2033 use deadline under the proposal; check county maps to determine which parcels are actually affected.
